Illinois Federal Judge Denies Class Certification In Silent PPO Case

BENTON, Ill. - An Illinois federal judge on Sept. 14 denied class certification in a silent preferred organization (PPO) case, saying that individual issues predominated as to whether the processor of transactions between the provider, payer and administrator committed fraud in allegedly submitting explanations of review that deceptively claimed PPO discounts (Walsh Chiropractic v.
